Nitec (Part-time classes)
Flexible learning with part-time Nitec courses.
ITE offers a wide range of CET Skills courses for the upgrading needs of the workforce. These part-time courses are:
Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher Nitec)
National ITE Certificate (Nitec)
ITE Skills Certificate (ISC)
Part-time Nitec courses
These courses are being phased out and are offered to ongoing students only.
Each course module is practical and can be completed in just six months. You will receive a Module Certificate for every module you pass, showcasing your growing expertise.
If you complete the certification requirements for the same course of study and mode of training within six years from your first set of approved assessment results, you may be awarded the full Nitec in Services/Technology certificate, together with an academic transcript.
You may refer to the 'Academic Advisement' page in STEP to view the modules you have completed and any remaining modules required to qualify for the full certificate.

Training schedule
Evening classes – Lessons are held two evenings a week, from 1845 hours to 2145 hours.
Weekend classes – Lessons are held once a week, from 0900 hours to 1600 hours.
