Application procedure (Train The Trainer)

STEP* will be used to administer all ITE Continuing Education & Training (CET) courses starting from 1 April 2024 onwards. For company sponsorship, you will need Corppass to log in to STEP Company Portal. Find out how companies can be onboarded to STEP [PDF, 100 KB].
*STEP – Skills Training & Enhancement Portal, the new one-stop learning portal to manage all courses and learning needs across the 5 polytechnics and ITE.
Admission guideline
Communicate proficiently in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
Keen to facilitate and assess learning through the design, reflection and continuous improvement of in-course activities in different learning settings (classroom, workplace and blended learning platform)
Possess subject matter specialisation and industry experience
Proficient in IT and communication skills, e.g. Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and communication tools
Able to source and analyse relevant materials from the workplace, library, internet or online databases for design and development of learning resources
Mode of payment
If you are paying using your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC), do note that the “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” will expire on 31 December 2025. This credit can be used only for courses starting on or before 31 December 2025.
The “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” is a one-off SFC top-up of $500 given by the government in 2020, for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above.

SkillsFuture Credits (SFC)
Self-sponsored applicants (Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above) can use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to pay for or offset the course fees. For more information on funding and use of SFC, please submit your queries via https://service-portal.skillsfuture.gov.sg/s/feedback or through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) hotline at 6785 5785.
Refund and withdrawal policy
A 100% refund will be available for withdrawal request submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date
A 50% refund will be available for withdrawal request submitted less than 14 days before the course start date
Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date
If the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. All fee refunds will be processed via PayNow. To apply for PayNow service, you are required to have e-banking/internet banking.
Individuals are to link your NRIC/FIN to your personal bank account
Companies who are sponsoring their staff are to link their company's UEN to the company's bank account
