The Joint Intake Exercise 'O' (JIE 'O') caters to the intake of GCE ‘O’ Level holders into full-time 3-year Higher Nitec courses. JIE 'O' is held in January each year, after the release of the GCE ‘O’ Level results. Successful applicants will commence their training in January.
Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

Main application phase
Application will open from Wed 14 Jan 2026 (4pm) to Mon 19 Jan 2026 (4.30pm).
Pre-course evaluation for 3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing course
• Pre-course evaluation for 3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing will be conducted on Fri 23 Jan 2026.

Reporting to college
Successful applicants who have accepted their course offer have to report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated dates to register for their course
If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) and had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' level examination as candidate of a Government, Government-Aided or Independent school in Singapore) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student's Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
