The Ministry of Health (MOH) has directed that all graduands working in healthcare institutions (e.g. hospitals, medical and dental clinics, nursing homes and retail pharmacies), including those in patient-facing and non-patient facing roles, and in paramedic functions, are not to attend ITE’s graduation ceremonies that will be held in May 2021.

This is a precautionary measure in line with MOH’s guidance to healthcare workers to minimise social mingling across different split teams and institutions before and after work. This is part of the healthcare sector’s overall heightened measures to minimise the risk of community and cross-healthcare institutional transmission of Covid-19.

Students and trainees who are currently undergoing training at healthcare institutions should avoid reporting back to ITE campuses until further notice. If you are affected, your lecturers will be in close communication to follow up on your studies and well-being.

For those who have attended to private or work-related matters in healthcare institutions recently, do contact ITE beforehand to check whether it is safe to return to campus. You may refer to the list of healthcare institutions here: http://hcidirectory.sg/hcidirectory/

We seek your kind understanding. Thank you very much for your cooperation. If you have questions, you may check with your lecturers or get in touch with us via the following channels:

You are cordially invited to join in the Graduation Ceremony organised specially for you.

In view of the current Safe Management Measures in place, we have limited seating capacity in our venues, hence, the event is strictly for graduands only. We seek your understanding that the decision was taken in the best interest of our students, their families and the community.
