This course covers the concept of digital transformation and its key drivers, exploring successful examples from various industries. Participants will examine digital transformation frameworks and strategies, and learn to integrate sustainability into digital transformation initiatives. You'll gain hands-on experience with digital transformation solutions tailored to specific industries. You'll also learn how to manage change effectively, with a focus on communication and involving stakeholders.
This course is supported by Lenovo, Microsoft and SME Centre@ASME.
What you'll learn
Understand the fundamental concepts in making informed decisions on use of technology and development plans that fit in your organisation's needs.
Understand key technologies like IoT and 5G so as to identify opportunities for using them, while taking into account the environmental impact and how they can be applied to SMEs.
Understand the importance of including sustainability in digital transformation efforts, making sure the organization succeeds in the long run by adopting eco-friendly practices from the start of their digital journey.
Create a custom digital transformation plan that meets specific needs and seamlessly includes sustainability, digital workplace tools, and IT service management. This plan aims to boost productivity and support a hybrid workforce for global growth using technologies like Industry 4.0 and AI in marketing.
Utilise digital tools and methods to drive change and innovation in your organization. By leveraging digital marketing, they can reach more customers and boost brand awareness, leading to business growth and staying ahead of the competition.
Entry requirements
Participants should preferably have:
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with the internet.
At least five years of work experience in any industry.
Interest in or exposure to digital technologies or business innovation.
Basic understanding of English for effective communication during the programme.

Fee for this course can be paid using SkillsFuture Credits.
