CoC in Introduction to Digital Sewing & Online Marketing (Tote Bag) (Classroom & Asynchronous)

Course duration: 7.5 hours

This SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) equips participants with the skills and knowledge in drafting basic pattern blocks with given specifications or measurements taken for the given project, with electronic device integration. They will acquire knowledge in the different types of materials, patterns and accessories used. Participants will also be introduced to basic online business entrepreneurship using e-commerce platform.

• Applications, fabrics selection and choice of accessories

• Basic online-business entrepreneurship using e-commerce platform by launching product for sale online

• Basic digital sewing machine set up, features and functions

• Measurement techniques

• Drafting technique and cutting of cloth (lining and pockets etc)

• Seam finishing and machine stitching technique

• Incorporating the various types of accessories and electronic device

• Trimming the size of the fabric according to specification

• Measuring and documenting dimensions of the final product

• Producing end product in accordance to specifications and workmanship
