This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills in basic fire detection system and emergency voice communication system maintenance.
Course duration: 9 hours
The scope of work includes the following:
Inspection of fire alarm and detection system
Inspection of one and two-way emergency voice communication systems
What you'll learn
Competency 1: Inspect fire alarm and detection system
Perform inspection, testing of fire alarm and detection system for correct operation and compliance to relevant Code of Practice or equivalent.
Competency 2: Inspect one and two-way emergency voice communication systems
Checking and testing of the emergency voice communication systems in accordance with SS546:2009 and Fire Precautions in Buildings or equivalent.
Entry requirements
Participants need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
