Course duration: 4.5 hours
The Singapore Food Agency and SkillsFuture Singapore have designed a course just for you. This mandatory refresher course will sharpen your skills and keep you updated on the best practices in food handling.
This course is essential for anyone working with food, as it teaches you how to keep food safe and clean. You need to take this refresher course five years after you pass your basic food hygiene course and subsequently, every 10 years. Completing this training will boost your skills and help you excel in your career as a food handler.

Certification
Course participants are required to attend the course and pass the assessments to receive the WSQ Statements of Attainment (SOA).
Entry requirements
Participants should possess basic literacy in English or Chinese so that they could understand the lessons and communicate in class. This course will be conducted in either English or Mandarin.
Participants must be holders of Food Safety Course Level 1 (FSCL 1) Certificate.
If you are paying using your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC), do note that the “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” will expire on 31 December 2025. This credit can be used only for courses starting on or before 31 December 2025.
The “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” is a one-off SFC top-up of $500 given by the government in 2020, for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above.
