Course duration: 1.5 years to 3 years
What you'll learn
Handle guest room reservations.
Handle guest arrival and departure.
Provide guests services.
Perform housekeeping services.
Check cleanliness and set up of dining areas.
Perform hosting functions.
Take and serve food and beverage orders.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage.
Prepare coffee beverages
Entry requirements
3 GCE ‘O’ Level Grades:
Grade 1-7 in English Language;
Grade 1-7 in two other subjects
Applicants must have sat for Mathematics (Elementary/Additional).
OR
Nitec in Services qualifications; or
Nitec qualifications (Business/Services Skills); or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and one year relevant work experience; or
Completed four Foundation modules.
Applicants who do not meet the above entry requirements will need to complete Foundation modules before taking Core/Specialisation modules.
Entry requirements for Foundation modules
2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1-8) in any two subjects; or
3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in English and two other subjects; or
Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
