What you'll learn

  • Interpret water services and sanitary plumbing drawings

  • Prepare simple schematic drawings

  • Install water services system and fixtures

  • Install sanitary and plumbing systems and fixtures

  • Detect leaks in pipe systems and fixtures

  • Clear drainpipe blockages

Entry requirements

  • Completed primary education; or

  • Passed BEST Module 4 in English or Mathematics; or

  • Have minimum 1 year of relevant working experience; or

  • Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4 in Reading and Listening; or

  • Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4 in Numeracy.
