Certification
Course participants are required to attend the course and pass both theory & practical components to receive the Joint ITE-NEA Certificate in Pest Management.
Entry requirements
Participants must meet the following requirements:
Singapore Citizens / Singapore Permanent Residents or Foreigners with a valid and relevant work permit issued by Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to work in Singapore; AND
Have Provisional Vector Control Technician (VCT) licence; OR
Completed GCE ‘N’ Level or higher; OR
Attained Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Reading, Listening and Numeracy; OR
Passed Pest Control Course with at least one year of working experience in vector control works
If you are paying using your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC), do note that the “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” will expire on 31 December 2025. This credit can be used only for courses starting on or before 31 December 2025.
The “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” is a one-off SFC top-up of $500 given by the government in 2020, for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above.

Training schedule
General information
This is a blended learning course which includes 72 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of Self-Directed Learning (SDL). You need to complete and pass 1 Practical Assignment, 1 Phase Test and 1 Theory Exam to receive the certificate.
On completion, course applicant will be able to carry out pest inspection work, prepare work site for pest management, prepare and use pesticides, use pest management equipment and supervise pest control operations performed by workers hired by the company.
Duration:
Lessons are mostly conducted on Wednesdays and Thursdays
6.45 pm - 9.45 pm (subject to adjustment)
