What you'll learn
Perform patient assessment
Manage patient with injuries / chest pain / shortness of breath / altered mental state / cardiac arrest
Manage a conventional mass casualty situation
Certification
Course participants are required to attend the course and pass the assessments to receive the Joint ITE-UPEC Certificate in Pre-hospital Emergency Care.
Entry requirements
Pre-hospital personnel should have completed Paramedic Level III or equivalent, as accepted by Unit for Pre-hospital Emergency Care (UPEC), Ministry of Health (MOH) OR
Higher NITEC in Paramedic & Emergency Care issued by Institute of Technical Education (ITE) OR
Letter from UPEC for foreign trained paramedics
If you are paying using your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC), do note that the “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” will expire on 31 December 2025. This credit can be used only for courses starting on or before 31 December 2025.
The “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” is a one-off SFC top-up of $500 given by the government in 2020, for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above.
