Course duration: 30 months

The Work-Study Diploma in Event Management adopts a work-study approach to empower you to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced events and tourism industry.
The course seeks to equip trainees with the skills and knowledge to conceptualise, plan, and execute both MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) and special events with a strong focus on creating memorable customer experience, enabled by event technologies.
Work-Study Training pattern
Day Release - One day of classroom lessons per week at ITE, with the remaining work-week spent at the workplace for On-the-Job Training.

What you'll learn
Develop event concepts
Design survey on consumer consumption patterns
Perform post event evaluation
Design customer experience quality service plan
Develop experiential programme for MICE event
Manage space planning for MICE facilities & venue
Maintain Stakeholder and Volunteer Relationship
Analyse consumer consumption data with data analytics and/or data visualisation tools
Develop and evaluate performance of event and digital marketing plan
Entry requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
Nitec with GPA ≥ 2
All Courses from School of Business & Services
Hospitality Operations
Higher Nitec:
All Courses from School of Business & Services
Hospitality Operations
OR
In-service employees+ with:
Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
Relevant work experience
Strong employer endorsement
+In-service employee may be invited for an admission interview
Career opportunities
On completion of this diploma programme, you can take up jobs as Events Executive, Project Executive and Venue Operations Executive.
