This diploma course will prepare you to be part of the exciting development in the Facilities Management Industry. You will learn technical skills in maintaining critical building systems and troubleshoot failures effectively in a safe environment. Besides Technical skills, you will be equipped with technical communication, data analysis as well as contracts management which are crucial skills required for the future Facilities Management Leaders. These abilities will make you ready for a bright future in the workforce.
Build Connections with Industry Leaders
In this course, you will work with building owners, managing agents, and contractors. This hands-on experience will teach you about the different roles in the industry. You will be well-equipped to start a successful career in building services and facilities management.
Prerequisite
This diploma is for aspiring individuals who are passionate to be a problem solver, good communicator and enjoys exploring emerging technology trends.
Job role
You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of establishments, ensuring that they comply with authority requirements and health and safety standards.
Training pattern
Day Release - Trainees attend lessons at ITE for one day per a week and spend the remainder of the work-week at the workplace for OJT.

Entry requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
Nitec with GPA ≥ 2 or Higher Nitec:
All courses from School of Engineering
All courses from School of Electronics & Info-Comm Technology
OR
In-service employees+ with
Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
Relevant work experience
Strong employer endorsement
+In-service employee maybe invited for an admission interview
Note:
Applicants applying for this course must be free from colour appreciation deficiency. A score of 100% from the Colour Blindness Test taken here is mandatory for course admission.
