Modern media and digital technologies have greatly changed the way in which the media industry operates. There is a growing need for digital communication specialists who can engage with digital technologies.

Course duration: 30 months

This diploma course prepares you for a professional career in the Media and Goods & Services sectors. You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to develop and design digital content for service marketing and training as well as to influence emerging digital practices.

Prerequisite

Knowledge of graphic design, illustrator, photography, video editing, animation and/or digital marketing. Work well with team members and other colleagues from various sources. Effective communication to articulate idea clearly and communicate well with supervisor, team members and other colleague. Free from colour appreciation deficiency.

Job role

A Junior Digital Content Developer develops and designs digital content to service existing marketing, training programs and influence emerging digital practices within the company. The works he/she perform can include creating ideas for brand and content marketing, developing social media campaign advertisement, developing email marketing content, developing video advertisement, developing animated sequence for immersive media and creating user interface and managing digital content.

Work-study training pattern

Day Release - One to two days of classroom lessons per week at ITE, with the remaining work-week spent at the workplace for On-the-Job Training.

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
- Nitec with GPA ≥ 2:

- Higher Nitec:

  - Games Art & Design

In-service employees⁺ with:
- Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
- Minimum 18 years old with at least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience
- Strong employer endorsement
