Course duration: 30 months

Able to work well with others in a team environment

Possess fine and gross psychomotor skills, sensor (Visual, hearing) ability, communication skills
Job role
A paramedic is a healthcare provider who leads a team to provide patient care in the pre-hospital settings.
The paramedic works under the direction and supervision of a physician who provides the clinical guidelines which underscores the scope that the paramedics can practice under his charge.
The work he/she performs includes the following:
Maintain operational readiness
Perform clinical assessment for different age groups (young, adult, geriatric)
Manage trauma situations
Manage medical conditions
Manage special situations
Perform administrative duties
Engage in work improvement
Supervise, train and mentor emergency medical technician and trainees
Engage in professional learning and development
Work-Study Training pattern
Block Release - Alternating between blocks of daily classroom lessons at ITE and periods of On-the-Job Training at the workplace.

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
Nitec with GPA ≥ 2:
