This course aims to help participants understand and perform tasks related to fiber optic cabling installation and testing, such as:

- Fundamentals of fibre optic
- Indoor and outdoor fibre cable
- Fibre optic accessories, splices & termination tools
- Fibre indoor/outdoor fusion splicing & anerobic termination
- Fibre cabling arrangement/management and cleaning
- Fibre Installation Safety
- Fibre optic testing equipment
- Fibre diagnosis & troubleshooting with an OTDR
- Fibre Splitter
- Maintenance and Testing of fibre optic cabling with an Out-of-Band OTDR
Entry Requirements
This is a basic course. It is suitable for participants who have related work experience in the fiber optic cable industry or any other industry that requires fiber optic cabling interconnectivity.
