The Standard First Aid (SFA) Provider course aims to equip participants with knowledge and skills in Standard First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and usage of Automated External Defibrillator (AED). At the end of the course, participant will be able to recognise and manage injuries and medical emergencies, as well as render first aid treatments to casualties in common accidents. This course is in accordance with the guidelines and methodologies stipulated by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
Upon completion of the course, trainees will be awarded the Standard First Aid (SFA) and CPR+AED Provider certificates which is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance, accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
This course consists of 8 hours of asynchronous e-learning to be completed by participants before the in-person classroom session.
This course is not suitable for participants with physical or health conditions that will be compromised/aggravated while practicing CPR (e.g. recent or active joint injuries, recent surgeries, backaches, pregnancy and heart diseases).
Fee for this course can be paid using SkillsFuture Credits.
