Under Singapore Green Plan 2030, our nation has a vision to achieve 100% cleaner energy vehicles (both commercial and passenger vehicle) by 2040.  LTA has a comprehensive roadmap for Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption and adaptation. One of the targeted sectors is the automotive industry to provide a pathway for vehicle technicians to acquire new skills in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems and electric vehicles.

This course is designed for vehicle and bus technicians, automotive technical specialists, bus technical specialists, customer service advisers, vehicle inspectors and personnel in automotive engineering who wants to be DGUV certified.

Candidates who pass the assessment will receive the following certificates:

- WSQ Statements of Attainment (SOAs)

  • Workplace Safety and Health for Electrical Safety
  • Electric Vehicle and/or Hybrid Electric Vehicle Charging Management
  • Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Maintenance Management
  • Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Battery Management

National Electric Vehicle (EV) Specialist Safety (NESS) Certificate

Entry Requirements

Participants must 

• Be at least 18 years old and above
• Possess at least GCE N Levels/NTC-2/ Nitec or equivalent
