Registration for Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) courses
  • Registration is conducted throughout the year for courses scheduled on a quarterly basis.
  • You will be able to register for the classes approximately 1½ months before course commencement.
  • Class confirmation e-mail will be sent, 1 to 2 weeks before course commencement.
  • Closing date: 1 week before course start date or when the class is full.

Funding & Subsidies

  • Singapore citizens or permanent residents (SC/PRs) are eligible for a SSG training subsidy of up to 80% of the course fee capped at $17 per hour. Foreigners with valid work pass will pay the full course fee. 
  • Under the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) Scheme, Singapore citizens who are 40 years and above will enjoy higher subsidy of 90% of the course fees.
  • Under the Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme, low-wage workers would receive higher course fee support and absentee payroll subsidy of 95%. To be eligible, you must be Singapore citizen, age 35 and above, and earning $2000 or less per month.  
  • Employers who sponsor low-wage workers for training under WTS will enjoy enhanced course fee and absentee payroll funding. They can submit their claims to SSG via their SkillsConnect account at http://www.skillsconnect.gov.sg.

3. Counter Registration

You can also register at any of our Customer & Visitor Centres, in person or through an authorised person during the registration period. Please bring along all relevant documents, including:

i. NRIC or Work Pass
ii. WTS/WIS notification letter, if you are eligible under the Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme

Payment is required upon confirmation of enrolment.

MODE OF PAYMENT

For self-sponsored individuals:

1. SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) 

Self-sponsored trainees (Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above) can use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) to pay for or offset the course fees by applying for claim via their SFC account at https://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit. For more information on fundings and use of SFC, please submit your queries via https://portal.ssg-wsg.gov.sg or through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) hotline at 6785 5785.

2. Cheque, VISA, Mastercard or NETS

Crossed cheque should be made payable to ITE. Please write your name, NRIC/FIN, course title and contact number at the back of the cheque.

3. Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) 

You may visit the MOE page for more information on usage of PSEA. Download the PSEA Ad Hoc Withdrawal form and bring original form to any of our Customer & Visitor Centres for registration.

Crossed cheque should be made payable to ITE. Please indicate the Invoice ID and Reference No. at the back of the cheque.
