Application procedure (Workforce Skills Qualification - WSQ)

STEP (Skills Training & Enhancement Portal) is a one-stop portal to manage all course applications for continuing education and training across ITE and the 5 polytechnics.
For company-sponsored applications, please on board to STEP first, then log in to STEP Company Portal using your company's Corppass.
Mode of application
You may contact our Customer & Visitor Centres during the registration period if you need assistance. STEP will require SingPass authentication. Please ensure you have a SingPass account and bring along all relevant documents, including:
NRIC or Work Pass
Highest Education Certificate
Do note:
For timely processing and confirmation of registration, do ensure that all information and necessary documents are provided.
Registration will close 3 days before course start date or when the class is full.
You will receive a class confirmation email when class is confirmed.
Mode of payment
For self-sponsored individuals:
SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)
VISA, Mastercard, NETS
Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA)
For company sponsorship:
Interbank GIRO
Withdrawal and refund
In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.
Refund mode: PayNow.
Respective percentage of refund
Date of receipt of written notice | Refund of fee |
More than or equal to 14 days before course commencement | 100% |
Less than 14 days before course commencement | 50% |
On or after course commencement | Nil |
All refunds will be via PayNow.
To apply for PayNow service, you are required to have e-banking/internet banking.
For individuals, please link your NRIC/FIN to your personal bank account.
For companies, please link your company's UEN to the company's bank account.
