You can continue your journey in ITE by enrolling in our Work-Study Diploma/ Technical Diploma or Higher Nitec courses. With a wide range of courses to choose from you can be certain of finding one that is right for you.

Course advising

For general course advising, applicants may make an appointment online with one of our Education & Career Guidance (ECG) Counsellors.

The offer of an ITE course to applicants is subject to them being physically, medically and mentally fit to pursue the course. This is to ensure that all students can benefit from ITE training in a safe and conducive environment.

Applicants or students assessed by ITE as being unfit can be withdrawn from the course. Where appropriate, they may be considered for other courses if there are suitable ones. The Learning Accessibility Office (LAO) at each ITE College will provide support to students with special educational needs in their learning process at ITE.

Applicants with special educational needs are strongly encouraged to seek prior academic course advising from the respective College(s) before selecting their choice of application.

ITE graduates applying for full-time course

If you have graduated from a full-time Nitec or Higher Nitec course at ITE and wish to return to do a second full-time Nitec or Higher Nitec course, you may apply for admission under JIEN, JIEO, JIEE, ISCJ and EAE one year after graduation. For January 2025 intake, you may submit your admission application if you have graduated before 1 February 2024.

If you have graduated from a full-time Higher Nitec course at ITE and wish to return to do a second full-time Higher Nitec course, you may apply for admission under JAE, EAEP and NCHN one year after graduation. For April 2025 intake, you may submit your admission application if you have graduated before 1 May 2024.

Applicants who are ITE graduates may be subject to further evaluation at the discretion of ITE to assess their suitability for the course they have applied for. For an ITE graduate who is admitting into an ITE course, you are to clear any outstanding fee payment from your previous ITE course, if any before enrolling in a new course.

Ongoing ITE students

Ongoing ITE students who are currently studying in a course and wish to seek course transfer to another ITE course should apply only during the final application phase.

While all eligible applications for transfer will be given due consideration, meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee a place in the course as admission is also subject to available vacancies in open competition.

Deferment of National Service (NS) for NS-liable males/ Disruption of NS for NS-enlisted males

NS-liable males will be granted NS deferment for the pursuit of full-time studies at pre-university government-funded institutions including ITE if they attain a place and are pursuing a course for higher academic qualifications from what they have previously attained (e.g. from N/O Levels to Nitec/Higher Nitec, from Nitec to Higher Nitec or from Nitec/Higher Nitec to ITE Work-Study Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/Technical Diploma courses) and NS deferment will no longer be subject to cut-off ages.

For latest updates on NS deferment eligibility and policy, you can visit CMPB's site. Students who are not eligible for NS deferment will need to withdraw from the course that they are enrolled in.
