Main phase

Application under the main phase is now closed.

The Nitec Progression to Higher Nitec (NCHN) caters to the intake of Nitec graduates and Nitec (Sector) certificate holders who wish to progress to full-time Higher Nitec courses. NCHN is held in January each year. Successful applicants will commence their training in April.

Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

You may also refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for information on admissions under NCHN. If you need help with your application, please contact or email to any of the Customer & Visitor Centres at ITE Colleges during office hours.

Final appeal application phase

Submission of appeal for the following categories of applicants is now closed:

  • Applicants with GPA not meeting criteria for progression

  • Unsuccessful main phase applicants

  • Main phase applicants seeking transfer to another course/College

  • Late applicants

Interview (Main phase)

  • The courses with interview requirement are:

    • Higher Nitec in Early Childhood Education

    • Higher Nitec in Nursing

  • Interview for shortlisted applicants will take place on Tue 4 Mar 2025, Wed 5 Mar 2025, or Thu 6 Mar 2025

  • If you have applied for any of the above courses, please login to https://istudent.ite.edu.sg on Mon 3 Mar 2025 (from 9am) to check the interview details (if you are shortlisted), via 'Self-Service' > 'Student Admission' > 'View Application Results’

  • If you have been shortlisted for interview, you will also be notified via email / SMS

Course acceptance

  • Applicants may login to istudent.ite.edu.sg to check your application result via 'Self-Service'>'Student Admission'>'View Application Results'

Application result and acceptance of offer

Applicants can check appeal result between Thu 20 Mar 2025 and Mon 14 Apr 2025 (for appeals submitted under 1st sub-phase), and between Mon 14 Apr 2025 and Wed 30 Apr 2025 (for appeals submitted under 2nd sub-phase).

Reporting to college

  • Successful Singapore Citizen (SC) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) applicants who have accepted their course offer must report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated date to register for their course

  • If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student's Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
