Tan Kah Kee Foundation, Ng Yong Yao, Wong Man Shen & Tan Guan Kai Lifelong Learning Scholarships

There are now 25 scholarships for the Tan Kah Kee Foundation, Ng Yong Yao, Wong Man Shen & Tan Guan Kai Lifelong Learning Scholarships, offering more chances for students to achieve their goals.

Tan Kah Kee Foundation Lifelong Learning Scholarship

The Tan Kah Kee Foundation Lifelong Learning Scholarship was introduced in 2023 by Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education. It is designed to inspire outstanding ITE graduates to advance in their careers through further education. This scholarship supports students’ journey of growth and lifelong learning, helping them reach new heights in their professions.

Who’s eligible?

ITE graduates who are currently pursuing a full-time Polytechnic Diploma, ITE Technical Diploma and ITE Work-Study Diploma; and are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.

About the scholarships

Requirements

Achieved outstanding results in their ITE or Polytechnic Diploma courses;

• Demonstrated good records of active participation in CCA; and

• Have a record of sustained commitment in serving the community.

Recipients of the Tan Kah Kee Foundation, Ng Yong Yao, Wong Man Shen & Tan Guan Kai Lifelong Learning Scholarships will each receive SGD 6,000. These scholarships are bond free.

*Ng Yong Yao Lifelong Learning Scholarship is donated by Mr Ng Chee Hwa in honour of his son, Ng Yong Yao.

*Tan Guan Kai Lifelong Learning Scholarship is donated by Ms Peggy Tan in memory of her father, Mr Tan Guan Kai.

*Established through the generosity of Madam Lee Poh Choo, the Wong Man Shen Lifelong Learning Scholarship honours the memory and lifelong values of her late husband, Mr Wong Man Shen.
