The Joint Intake Exercise 'N' (JIE 'N') caters to the intake of GCE ‘N’ Level holders into full-time 3-year Higher Nitec courses. GCE ‘O’ Level holders may also apply. JIE 'N' is held in December each year, after the release of the GCE ‘N’ Level results. Successful applicants will commence their training in January.
Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

Final Appeal Application Phase
Appeal for Admission / Transfer (under Final Appeal Phase)
Unsuccessful applicants appealing for admission, and students appealing for transfer, may submit their appeal online under the final appeal phase.
Appeals can be submitted between Fri 9 Jan 2026 and Fri 16 Jan 2026 (1st sub-phase), and between Thu 22 Jan 2026 and Fri 6 Feb 2026 (2nd sub-phase).
Pre-course evaluation for 3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing course
Pre-course evaluation for 3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing will be conducted on Mon 29 Dec 2025 to Tue 30 Dec 2025 under Main application phase and Wed 7 Jan 2026 under Appeal phase

Applicants can log in to check the outcome of appeal between Mon 12 Jan 2026 and Thu 22 Jan 2026 (for appeals submitted under 1st sub-phase), and between Thu 22 Jan 2026 and Wed 11 Feb 2026 (for appeals submitted under 2nd sub-phase)

4. Reporting to college
Successful applicants who have accepted their course offer have to report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated dates to register for their course
If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) and had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE level examination as candidate of a Government, Government-Aided or Independent school in Singapore) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
