The Joint Intake Exercise 'O' (JIE 'O') caters to the intake of GCE ‘O’ Level holders into full-time 3-year Higher Nitec and 2-year Nitec courses. JIE 'O' is held in January each year, after the release of the GCE ‘O’ Level results. Successful applicants will commence their training in January.
Admission to the courses is based on merit and choice.

Main application phase
Application opens from Fri 10 Jan 2025 (4pm) to Tue 14 Jan 2025 (4pm).
Appeal application phase
Appeal for admission / Transfer (under final appeal phase)
Unsuccessful applicants appealing for admission, and students appealing for transfer, may submit their appeal online (under JIE ‘N’) on Fri 17 Jan 2025 (1st sub-phase), or between Thu 23 Jan 2025 and Fri 7 Feb 2025 (2nd sub-phase).
Interviews
If you have indicated the following courses among your course choices and are shortlisted, you will be notified via email / SMS about the details of the interview taking place on Thu 16 Jan 2025:
3-year Higher Nitec in Nursing
2-year Nitec in Aerospace Avionics
2-year Nitec in Aerospace Technology
Course acceptance

Applicants may login to istudent.ite.edu.sg to check your application result via 'Self-Service'>'Student Admission'>'View Application Results'
Main application phase
Application result and acceptance of offer
Application result will be released on Fri 17 Jan 2025 (2pm). Successful applicants are required to login and accept the course offer online between Fri 17 Jan 2025 (2pm) and Mon 20 Jan 2025.
Reporting to college
Successful applicants who have accepted their course offer have to report to their posted ITE College by the stipulated dates to register for their course
If you are an International Applicant (i.e. not SC or SPR) and had sat for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' level examination as candidate of a Government, Government-Aided or Independent school in Singapore) who has accepted the course offer, you should report to College only after receiving your Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to study in ITE, or if you have a valid Immigration Pass (e.g. Dependant’s Pass / Long-Term Visit Pass). Instructions on applying for your Student's Pass are provided in your Enrolment Letter (emailed to you upon release of application outcome).
