Important Information for Graduates

Advisory on Covid-19

It is our priority to safeguard the health and safety of all attendees at the event. In view of the current Safe Management Measures (SMMs), each registered graduand will only be allowed to bring along 2 registered guests to attend the ceremony. 

Prior registration via the Graduation Ceremony registration site will be required for seating and logistical arrangements. Graduands (and guests) who did not register via the registration site will be turned away. 

Please note that ITE will be implementing the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) for the upcoming Graduation Ceremonies held on campus. 

RegistrationFor Immediate Action (By 24 April 2022, Sunday)

• All graduands are to register your attendance online from 12 April 2022, Tuesday, 12pm to 24 April 2022, Sunday, 11:59 pm.
• A confirmation page will be displayed and a confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
• Should you need to make any changes after registration, please email to cegraduation@ite.edu.sg latest by 24 April 2022, Sunday.

  • # Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS)

     

    All attendees above the age of 12 must meet any of the criteria below:

    (i) Fully vaccinated (i.e. having received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective, and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems); or

    (ii) Recovered from COVID-19 in the past 180 days; or

    (iii) Medically ineligible for COVID-19 vaccination (i.e. with either a physical or electronic Medical Ineligibility (MI) certificate issued by a local GP). Please refer to https://go.gov.sg/acceptabledocs for the sample of the standard memo.

    Attendees who do not meet any of the criteria above will be turned away and will not be allowed on campus. Please note that Pre-Event Testing in lieu of being vaccinated will not be accepted for this event and will be denied entry. 

    All attendees are required to do SafeEntry check-in at the event registration counters via the updated TraceTogether app or token only to facilitate the checking of vaccination status.  Other modes of SafeEntry check-in will not be accepted. 

    ITE reserves the right to turn away attendees who do not comply with VDS or are unable to produce valid proof of vaccination or ineligibility for COVID-19 vaccination.


  • Attending the Event

    Attendees are also strongly encouraged to perform a self-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at home prior to attending the event to safeguard the health and safety of all. 

    If you or your guest is tested COVID-19 positive

    • If you or your guests is/are tested COVID-19 positive, please self-isolate, DO NOT turn up for the ceremony. 

    • If you or your guests received a Health Risk Notice (HRN) from MOH because you are identified as a close contact of an infected person, you are required to do an ART self-test prior to leaving your house. You may attend the event if your ART is negative.

    • If you or your guests is/are feeling unwell but test negative, please seek medical assistance. DO NOT turn up for the ceremony.

    Attendees of the Graduation Ceremony are required to put on masks at all times. 

    We seek everyone’s cooperation to exercise social responsibility and cooperate with the SMMs which have been put in place.

    Online Registration
    Confirm your attendance online regardless of whether you are attending the Graduation Ceremony. You may refer to the Schedule of Ceremonies section for the date of your graduation sessions.

    The Online Registration System will be open for registration from 12 April 2022, Tuesday 12pm to 23 April 2022, Sunday 11:59pm.

    In line with the SMMs, we have limited seating capacity in our venues, hence, invited graduands are ONLY allowed to bring along 2 registered guests to attend the ceremony on campus. We will also be implementing the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures, 

    Please refer to section (1) above for the criteria. Attendees who do not fulfil the criteria will be denied entry.

    Only pre-registered graduands and their guests who fulfil the criteria indicated in Section (1) will be admitted into the venues.

    Graduation Gown Rental
    Gown rental counters will be set up at ITE College East from 20 April 2022, Wednesday to 22 April 2022, Friday daily from 12pm - 5pm. 

    Please refer to Gown Rental section for details on graduation gown rental and recommended outfit.

    Now – Graduation Ceremony
    Clearance of Fees/Fines/Loans
    All graduands are to ensure that all outstanding fees [fees, library fines etc] are fully paid and properties on loan [library books, equipment etc] are returned before your graduation ceremony.
     
    Graduands with outstanding fees will not be allowed to collect their certificates during the Graduation Ceremony.

    Graduation Ceremony

    Certificates & Transcripts
    The hardcopy Graduation Certificate and transcript will be given out during the ceremony. Graduands who are unable to attend the ceremony may contact the ITE College East Customer & Visitor Centre at 6590 2262 to make appointment to collect your certificate and transcript after 1 June 2022, Wednesday.

    Certificates which are uncollected will be destroyed after 1 year from the date of issuance and will not be re-issued.

    Digital Certificates & Transcripts
    Graduates may also retrieve your Digital Certificates and Transcript issued by ITE after 13 May 2022, Friday by logging in to  MySkillsFuture Portal with your SingPass.

    Why am I only allowed to bring 2 guests to my graduation ceremony?

    As we have limited seating capacity in our venues so as to be in line with the current Safe Management Measures, graduands are only allowed to bring along 2 guests for the ceremony. 

    As ITE will be implementing the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) for the upcoming Graduation Ceremonies, all attendees are to fulfil the VDS criteria# and required to pre-register via the Graduation Ceremony registration site by 24 April 2022, Sunday, 11:59pm. 

    We understand that graduation is a joyous occasion to celebrate with your family and friends. Hence, you may invite your family members and friends to join in the celebration via our ‘live’ stream of the graduation ceremonies.     Must I be fully vaccinated to attend this event?

    What do I and my guest need to bring along for entry on event day?

    Attendees must bring along the following items:
    i.  A working TraceTogether (TT) Token or updated TT app
    ii. A mobile device that has call and internet service to access your test results or vaccination status
    iii. Graduates are to bring along a photo identification for collection of certificates (e.g. NRIC, FIN, Passport)

    Attendees who also fail to bring their relevant identification or documents will be denied entry.


    Can I attend the graduation ceremony if I do not have the graduation attire?

    All graduands must be in their graduation attire before they can be allowed on stage.


    I have registered my attendance online and would like to amend my submission. What should I do?

    Please email cegraduation@ite.edu.sg to amend your online registration before the online registration ends on 24 April 2022, Sunday 11:59pm. Strictly no amendment requests can be made after 24 April 2022, Sunday. This is to facilitate the seating and logistic planning.


    What happens if I do not pre-register online by 24 April 2022, Sunday?

    Only graduands and their guests who have pre-registered by 24 April 2022, Sunday will be admitted into the venues. Attendees are also required to fulfill the VDS criteria#.


    Can I collect my certificate before the graduation ceremony?

    No, all graduands will collect their certificate only after the graduation ceremony.


    Will there be an official photographer to take photographs of the graduands?

    A professional photographer will take a photograph of you when you go on stage to receive your certificate.  Soft copy of the stage photograph will be made available to you, a day after the ceremony via a website.  Details will be made known at the ceremony.  The College will not be responsible for any damaged photographs.

    Our photographers will be taking photos at this event. The pictures may be used in various communications platforms, including but not limited to publications, ITE website, Corporate Newsletter and Facebook page.


    If I am not able to attend the graduation ceremony, can I get my friend to collect the certificate for me at the ceremony?

    No. Graduands who are unable to attend the ceremony may contact the ITE College East Customer & Visitor Centre at 6590 2262 to make appointment to collect your certificate and transcript after 1 June 2022, Wednesday. Please bring along your NRIC for verification purposes.

    Certificates which are uncollected will be destroyed after 1 year from the date of issuance and will not be re-issued.


    Can I collect my certificate if I have unpaid fees?

    No, you will not be able to collect your certificate after the graduation ceremony if you have any unpaid fees. Please ensure that you have cleared all fees and loans prior to the Graduation Ceremony.
