Important Information for Graduates

Advisory on Covid-19

It is our priority to safeguard the health and safety of all attendees at the event. Mandatory precautionary measures such as thermal scanning, SafeEntry via TraceTogether and physical distancing will be implemented. 

Graduands are also strongly encouraged to bring along your physical TraceTogether Token or activate your TraceTogether app to facilitate effective contact tracing should the need arises. 

We would like to seek everyone’s cooperation to exercise social responsibility: stay at home if you’re unwell; practise good personal hygiene, and follow safe distancing measures in public spaces. 

Attendees who:
• Exhibit acute respiratory illness of any degree of severity (eg. Cough, Fever, Runny nose) or running a temperature of more than 37.5 degree Celsius;
• Are on quarantine, issued medical leave by the doctor, stay-home notice (SHN);
• Had close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 patient

will be turned away and will not be allowed on campus.

Attendees of the Graduation Ceremony need to put on masks at all times and STRICTLY maintain safe distancing as per event advisory on actual day.

Timeline of Events

Graduands will receive the invitation via their ITE email address (for Mar 2021 graduates / their preferred email registered with ITE for CET and graduates who graduated before Mar 2021).
12 – 22 Apr 2021, 11.59pm Online Registration
Confirm your attendance online regardless of whether you are attending the graduation ceremony. You may refer to the Schedule of Ceremonies section for the date of your graduation sessions.
The Online Registration System will be open for registration from Mon, 12 Apr 2021, 12pm till Thu, 22 Apr 2021, 11.59pm.

Graduation Online Registration:
In view of the current restrictions, we have limited seating capacity in our venues, hence, ONLY GRADUANDS will be invited to attend the ceremony on campus. We seek your understanding that the decision was taken in the best interest of our students, your families and the community. 

The online registration will commence on Mon, 20 Apr 2021 and end on Thu, 22 Apr 2021, 11.59pm.

Only pre-registered graduands will be admitted into the venues. 
By 20 Apr 2021Graduation Gown Rental

Gown rental counters will be set up at ITE College East on 16, 19 & 20 Apr 2021 (Fri, Mon & Tue)

Please refer to Gown Rental section for details on graduation gown rental and recommended outfit.
Now – Graduation Ceremony Clearance of Fees/Fines/Loans
All graduands are to ensure that all outstanding fees [fees, library fines etc] are fully paid and properties on loan [library books, equipment etc] are returned before your graduation ceremony.
Graduands with outstanding fees will not be allowed to collect their certificates during the Graduation Ceremony.
Graduation Ceremony Certificates & Transcripts
The hardcopy Graduation Certificate and transcript will be given out during the ceremony. Graduands who are unable to attend the ceremony may contact the ITE College East Customer & Visitor Centre at 6590 2262 to make appointment to collect your certificate and transcript after 28 May 2021.
Certificates which are uncollected will be destroyed after 1 year from the date of issuance and will not be re-issued.
Digital Certificates & Transcripts
Graduates may also retrieve your Digital Certificates and Transcript issued by ITE after 22 May 2021 by logging in to MySkillsFuture Portal with your SingPass. Find out how you can access your Digital Certificates here.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why am I not allowed to bring guests to my graduation ceremony?

As we have limited seating capacity in our venues so as to be in line with the current Safe Management Measures, only graduands are invited to the ceremony. We understand that graduation is a joyous occasion to celebrate with your family and friends. Hence, you may invite your family members and friends to join in the celebration via our ‘live’ stream of the graduation ceremonies. Hop over to “Schedule of Ceremonies” section for the ‘live’ stream links on the actual day.

Can I attend the graduation ceremony if I do not have the graduation attire?
No. All graduands must be in their graduation attire before they can be allowed on stage.

I have registered my attendance online and would like to amend my submission. What should I do?
Please email to amend your online registration before the online registration ends on 22 Apr 2021. Strictly no amendment requests can be made after 22 Apr 2021.

What happens if I do not pre-register online by 22 Apr 2021?
Only graduands who have pre-registered by 22 Apr 2021 will be admitted into the venues.

Can I collect my certificate before the graduation ceremony?
No, all graduands will collect their certificate only after the graduation ceremony.

Will there be an official photographer to take photographs of the graduands?
A professional photographer will take a photograph of you when you go on stage to receive your certificate.  Soft copy of the stage photograph will be made available to you, a day after the ceremony via a website.  Details will be made known at the ceremony.  The College will not be responsible for any damaged photographs.

Our photographers will be taking photos at this event. The pictures may be used in various communications platforms, including but not limited to publications, ITE website, Corporate Newsletter and Facebook page.

If I am not able to attend the graduation ceremony, can I get my friend to collect the certificate for me at the ceremony?
No. Graduands who are unable to attend the ceremony may contact the ITE College East Customer & Visitor Centre at 6590 2262 to make appointment to collect your certificate and transcript after 28 May 2021. Please bring along your NRIC for verification purposes.

Certificates which are uncollected will be destroyed after 1 year from the date of issuance and will not be re-issued.

Can I collect my certificate if I have unpaid fees?
No, you will not be able to collect your certificate after the graduation ceremony if you have any unpaid fees. Please ensure that you have paid all your fees prior to the Graduation Ceremony.
