You will learn how to plan and deliver effective coaching based on specific job competencies, assess your progress, and improve coaching methods for better results.
Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) are eligible for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points under Category 1A. ITE will update the attendance of learners who have successfully completed the course via the Professional Registration System.

Equip yourself to conduct structured coaching at the workplace. Guide learning where it matters most - on the job, and ensure that the learning is relevant and useful.
Select from three learning modes: classroom facilitated training, synchronous e-learning or blended learning (asynchronous and classroom sessions) depending on your organisational needs and personal preferences.
This module is a revised version of the 'Prepare and Conduct Coaching' module conducted prior to Jul 2025.

Course participants will be awarded with the module certificate upon completing the module and attaining a pass in the assessment criteria.
Entry requirements
Communicate proficiently in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
Keen to facilitate and assess learning through the design, reflection and continuous improvement of in-course activities in different learning settings (classroom, workplace and blended learning platform)
Possess subject matter specialisation and industry experience
Proficient in IT and communication skills, e.g. Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and communication tools
Able to source and analyse relevant materials from the workplace, library, internet or online databases for design and development of learning resources

Important note:
Course participants for blended learning classes are required to submit a completed coaching plan assignment by the end of the 3-week online learning via the online learning portal. Course participants who do not submit the coaching plan as required will not be eligible to attend the 2-day classroom facilitated lessons, and will be deemed to have failed the course.

Supported by Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP), a training benefit for NTUC members to defray their cost of learning.
1 Singapore Citizens (SCs), Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) and Long Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) holders are eligible for SSG funding support of 50% of course fees.
2 SCs, SPRs and LTVP+ holders who are sponsored by SMEs, or SCs who are eligible for Midcareer Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) enjoy higher SSG funding support of 70% of course fees.
3 Applies to the following categories:
Foreigners with a valid work pass; and
SCs/ SPRs/ LTVP+ holders who are re-taking the course.
