In this SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) course, participants will be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the core principles and concepts of lean principles, such as eliminating waste, continuous improvement, and value stream mapping.
Individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully implement lean principles and achieve improved operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction before implementing Digital and Industry 4.0.
What you'll learn
Able to apply 4 Just-in-Time (JIT) principles for Industry 4.0 in manufacturing.
Able to Identify, analyse and eliminate utilizing MUDA-MURA- MURI (3M) from Toyota Production System (TPS) to balance a production line footprint.
Able to generate TPS Yamazumi data analytics report with Digital NVA (Non-Value Add) Analysis (DNA) software from New Value (NV).
Entry requirements
This is an intermediate course.
Education qualification: Secondary and above.
Letter of declaration from the company indicating the applicant has 2 years of working experience in engineering sector
Advisory: Other qualifications will be evaluated on case-by-case basis.
