In this SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) course, you will learn how to install guide rails for lift car and counterweight for lift system.

Course duration: 20 hours

What you'll learn

  • Explain the purpose of guide rail system and its components

  • Explain the purpose of the template and its fabrication

  • Explain the purpose of the plumbline and its setting up

  • Perform checks with calibration or special tools

Entry requirements

This is an intermediate course for learners who have a basic understanding of the topic. Some prior knowledge/experience is required.
