If you are in the Vertical Transport industry, this course will prepare you to work independently to maintain and service lifts with competencies pegged at the Specialist level. Upon successful completion, you may apply for the position of Lift Specialist under the BCA Progressive Wage Model for the Lift and Escalator sector.
What you'll learn
Introduction to lift training equipment and safety procedures in lift maintenance
Completion of four projects related to lift maintenance
Entry requirements
This is an intermediate-level course. You must fulfil the following entry requirements:
Completed Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) and minimum one year related work experience; or
Work-At-Height and minimum one year related work experience; or
Completed CoC in Lift System & Equipment Maintenance
Participants are to submit proof of entry requirement at the point of registration.
