In this SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills in design and data analysis in executing advanced manufacturing methodologies and tools specific from Lean to Digital Manufacturing.
Aligning to Industry 4.0 and Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI), this course enables the participants to be Digital Factory 4.0 work environment ready and to apply Smart Lean Manufacturing solutions at their workplace.
What you'll learn
Able to apply 4 Just-in-Time (JIT) principles for Industry 4.0 in manufacturing.
Able to Identify, analyse and eliminate utilizing MUDA-MURA- MURI (3M) from Toyota Production System (TPS) to balance a production line footprint.
Able to generate TPS Yamazumi data analytics report with Digital NVA Analysis (DNA) software from New Value (NV).
Able to apply digital technologies commonly used in manufacturing, such as Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation.
Able to design one-piece flow process and translating it to smart manufacturing line.
Entry requirements
This is an intermediate course.
Education qualification: Secondary and above.
Letter of declaration from the company indicating the applicant has 2 years of working experience in engineering sector
Advisory: Other qualifications will be evaluated on case-by-case basis.
