Course duration: 18 hours
For electricity generation supply greater than 1 MWac, electricians are engaged in associated electrical work to submit the application for solar PV and generator connection and turn-on of installation and to perform inspection to meet installation requirements.
What you'll learn
Interpret related Statutory and non-statutory requirements relating to electrical installation design for both Solar PV and Standby Generator
Interpret requirements for generating licence
Relate application process for supply connection for PV Solar and standby generators
Complete related supply generator reports
Carry out application for installation turn-on process for micro generator supply
Carry out installation test
Carry out inspection schedule
Entry requirements
This is an Intermediate level course. Also suitable for participants with Secondary school level education with electrical experience.
