Discover the art of crochet, a soothing craft that involves creating patterns by interlocking loops of yarn with a crochet hook.
Course duration: 8 hours
This hands-on workshop is designed for complete beginners with no prior crochet experience. Learn the basics of crochet, including the tools you need and how to hold and use a crochet hook and yarn. You will build your skills step by step by learning three essential crochet stitches: chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet. You will then apply these techniques to create your own drawstring bag. As crochet skills develop at different paces, the workshop focuses on helping each participant understand and practise the fundamental stitches while creating a simple handmade project.
What you'll learn

How to hold and use a crochet hook and yarn

Single crochet – one of the simplest and common stitch in crochet
