Bring ideas to life in print and digital! Learn to design brochures, posters, packaging, and magazines, while mastering illustration, digital photography, and graphic design skills.

Course duration: 1.5 years to 3 years

This course is being phased out and is offered to ongoing students only.

Entry requirements

  • 2 GCE 'O' Level Grades (Grade 1 - 8) in any two subjects; or

  • 3 GCE 'N' Level Passes (Grade A-D or Grade 1-5) in English Language and two other subjects; or

  • Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy.

Note:

  • Applicant applying for this course must be free from colour appreciation deficiency.  A score of 100% from the Colour Blindness Test taken here is mandatory for course admission.

  • Applicants will be required to attend an interview and pass a drawing test for admission.

  • Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission if they have a letter of sponsorship or employer’s recommendation. Applicants may have to go through an interview.

Nitec in Services - Visual Communication graduates are employed as Graphic Artists, Graphic Designers, Digital Artists, Illustrators and Assistant Photographers for companies in advertising, corporate branding, graphic design, photography and multimedia solutions.
