Course duration: 30 months
This course equips trainees with skills, knowledge, and professional attributes to design experiential environments through design development and coordination that influence perception, well-being and behaviour.
Additionally, trainees will acquire the skills to apply sustainability principles, healing design, productivity-focused spatial planning and brand experience integration.
Prerequisite
Applicants should have foundational knowledge in spatial design, product design, or visual merchandising. Key skills for this role include the ability to collaborate effectively with varied groups and clearly explain design concepts. Candidates with a strong interest in sustainability and circular design principles will have a distinct advantage. Applicants should have adequate colour perception for design-related work.
Job role
An Experiential Designer is one who craft purposeful environments that merge brand identity with human-centric design. They utilize sustainable practices, healing design principles, and strategic spatial planning to optimize user well-being and behaviour.
Work-study training pattern
Day Release - One day of classroom lessons per week at ITE, with the remaining work-week spent at the workplace for On-the-Job Training.

Entry requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;
Nitec with GPA ≥ 2:
All courses from School of Design & Media
Higher Nitec:
All courses from School of Design & Media
Architectural Technology
Civil & Structural Engineering
OR
In-service employees+ with:
Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
Minimum 18 years old with at least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience
Strong employer endorsement
+In-service employee may be invited for an admission interview
