The Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) in Integrated Supply Chain Management (Logistics) specialisation is your gateway to a future-proof career. It is designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge, and professional attributes needed to excel in warehousing, transportation, and freight operations. You'll also learn to harness the power of data analytics and technology to optimise logistical solutions and drive process improvements at the workplace.

Additionally, you'll gain practical experience in managing real-world supply chain challenges, building your ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive operational excellence by applying your knowledge in real-world settings through on-the-job training at leading 3PL firms, warehouses, distribution centres, and freight forwarding companies.

Prerequisite

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and adaptable problem-solver who could effectively collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to meet business and project objectives. He/She must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse/office environment.

Job role

A Supply Chain Executive/Warehouse Supervisor/Freight Officer is a key role that supports core business functions such as warehousing, freight forwarding, transportation management, and operations. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including operational tasks, customer support, and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, applying their skills and knowledge of the logistics industry to provide environmentally friendly and sustainable logistics solutions. They will also be responsible for optimising processes and improving efficiency within the workplace.

Work-study training pattern

Day Release - One day of classroom lessons per week at ITE, with the remaining work-week spent at the workplace for On-the-Job Training.

Entry requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

1. ITE graduates from any one of the following courses + pass company screening & interview;

   • Nitec with GPA ≥ 2

     • All Courses

   • Higher Nitec:

     • All Courses

OR

2. In-service employees⁺ with:

   • Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above

   • Relevant work experience

   • Strong employer endorsement

⁺In-service employee may be invited for an admission interview

Career opportunities

Work-Study Diploma (WSDip) in Integrated Supply Chain Management (Logistics) graduates are employed by logistics, supply chain or transportation companies.
