For electricity generation supply greater than 1 MWac, electricians are engaged in associated electrical work to submit the application for solar PV and generator connection and turn-on of installation and to perform inspection to meet installation requirements. Upon completion of this SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) course, participants are expected to be able to:

- Interpret related Statutory and non-statutory requirements relating to electrical installation design for both Solar PV and Standby Generator
- Interpret requirements for generating licence
- Relate application process for supply connection for PV Solar and standby generators
- Complete related supply generator reports
- Carry out application for installation turn-on process for micro generator supply
- Carry out installation test
- Carry out inspection schedule
Entry Requirements
This is an Intermediate level course. Also suitable for participants with Secondary school level education with electrical experience.
