Course Coverage
This course equips trainees with skills, knowledge and professional attributes to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair aircraft structure, systems (mechanical, electrical and avionics) and associated components using appropriate methods and techniques
in accordance with approved procedures and regulations to ensure airworthiness of aircraft.

What you'll learn
- Assist in landing gear retraction test
- Perform periodic aircraft engine maintenance
- Execute risk analysis in aircraft maintenance operation
- Perform removal and installation of engine component(s)
- Perform essential aircraft flight line maintenance procedures
- Analyse reliability studies in aircraft maintenance operations
- Perform wiring integrity checks on aircraft electrical systems
- Implement approved quality management system for preparing and maintaining aircraft servicing records
- Identify problems, derive, implement and evaluate viable solutions to solve work process challenges

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
- ITE graduates from any one of the following courses:
Nitec with GPA ≥ 2:
- Aerospace Avionics
- Aerospace Technology
- Electrical Technology (Power & Control)
- Electrical Technology (Lighting & Sound)
- Electronics, Computer Networking & Communications
- Electronics & Internet of Things
- Mechatronics & Robotics
- Mechanical Technology
Higher Nitec:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Robotics & Smart Systems
OR
In-service employees with:
- Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
- Relevant work experience
- Strong employer endorsement
- Free from colour appreciation deficiency
- Pass company screening and interview
Progression Opportunities
Graduates may be considered for admission to related full-time degree programmes in local universities, subject to meeting the admission requirements of the respective programmes.
