The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing fast and is used in many areas like healthcare, transport, and retail. In this module, you will learn about IoT and how smart sensors gather and share information. You will see how all these parts connect and display data on a cloud dashboard.

Create and control with your own IoT project

You will work on a hands-on project where you design a rules engine to process sensor data. This means you can set up your system to trigger actions based on the information it receives. Master safety and IoT basics

By the end of this module, you will know how to practise work safety and keep your workspace organised. You will learn to understand technical specifications of IoT sensors and connect them to a controller board. These skills are essential for anyone interested in working with IoT technology.

You will write code to send data to the online cloud, where you can visualise and track it. You will also set up notifications for when certain situations occur, making your IoT projects smart and responsive. This experience will prepare you to create innovative solutions using IoT.
