SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)

The SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) supports mid-career individuals in acquiring industry-relevant skills to enhance their employability and enabling them to pivot to new sectors or job roles.
The SCTP is designed for:
- Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents aged 21 years old and above 
- Employed individuals seeking to transition into a new career field or job role 
- Unemployed individuals looking to return to the workforce 
- Individuals ready to embrace and fulfil all training requirements, including maintaining minimum attendance and passing of assessments. 
Full-time and eligible for Training Allowance*
These courses are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) of $4,000.
- Singapore Citizens / Singapore PRs are eligible for up to 70% subsidy of the course fee 
- Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above are eligible for up to 90% subsidy of the course fee 
- Up to 95% of course fee subsidy for Singapore Citizens who meet one of following eligibility criteria: - Long-term unemployed individuals (unemployed for six months or more); or 
 - Individuals in need of financial assistance – ComCare, Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (SMTA) recipients or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) recipients; or 
 - Persons with Disabilities 
 
* Singapore Citizens aged 40 years and above are eligible for monthly training allowances (TA) during the SCTP course. The TA is calculated based on 50% of learners' average monthly income in the past 12 months, subject to a cap of $3,000 per month.
