The ITE Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) allows you to apply for Higher Nitec courses based on your aptitude and interests, and receive a conditional offer for admission to ITE. If you are passionate with strong aptitude related to a Higher Nitec course in ITE, the ITE EAE is for you.
For each of your course choices, you will have to attend an interview (if shortlisted) to be assessed through:
- Portfolio of related projects
- Enrolment in relevant Elective Modules in ITE
- Participation in work attachments, community/volunteer work, school/personal activities/projects, CCAs and competitions related to the course
- Aptitude test (if applicable)
In addition to the above, click here to
find out the specific skills and qualities you should be able to demonstrate for the various Higher Nitec courses.
Depending on the course and College, EAE selection for shortlisted applicants may be conducted in-person at the ITE College, or remotely (online).
If your application is successful, you will receive a conditional offer in August 2024 for admission to one of your course choices under the April 2025 intake. After you accept the conditional offer, your place in the course will be confirmed if your
final Nitec GPA (inclusive of CCA bonus points) meets the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) of the Higher Nitec course. Applicants with confirmed offers will not be eligible to participate in the 2025 Nitec Progression to Higher Nitec Intake Exercise (NCHN).
