All the ITE Colleges and Headquarters achieved the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification since 2014. As at 2018, all the ITE campuses and headquarters were certified the BCA Green Mark Platinum standard.
In 2013, ITE was conferred the Public Sector Lee Foundation
Singapore Sustainability Award by the Singapore Environment Council. This
honour encourages us to go further in our work in caring for the environment
and in 2014, ITE received the President’s Award for the Environment – the highest
environmental accolade in Singapore.
Our effort in caring for the environment has
garnered both ITE staff and students many environmental accolades such as the HSBC/NYAA
Youth Environmental Care Awards, Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Awards and the NEA EcoFriends Awards.
