In this SkillsFuture Certificate of Competency (CoC) course, you will gain awareness of safe practices for handling High Voltage (HV) systems in Electric Vehicles (EVs), enabling them to safely carry out maintenance and service work on Electric Vehicles. 

Competencies covered are as follow:
1. Conduct risk assessment for electric vehicles (EVs).
2. Perform deactivation of the high-voltage (HV) system in electric vehicles (EVs).

Participants are to complete six e-learning modules prior to attending the classroom training.

  • Introduction to Electric Vehicles
  • Battery Electric Vehicle
  • Hybrid Electric Vehicle
  • Battery Management System
  • Introduction to EV Charging System
  • Autonomous Vehicle

Entry Requirements

This course is conducted in English. Participants should be able to read and write in basic English to follow the course content effectively. This course is recommended for those who are currently employed or interested in pursuing a career in the electric vehicle industry.
