Participant will be learn how to code a drone using basic coding platform such as Scratch.  Learners will also gain an understanding of Estimation, Integer Number, Measurement, Time, Distance, Speed and Direction and also perform simple flight profiles.

What you'll learn

  • Briefing on basic drone parts
  • Understand safety of operating a drone
  • Familiarisation of the Coding environment
  • Set up a High Jump bar (meter ruler held by students) 
  • Have participants compete and estimating the height of high jump bar 
  • Participants to code the drone to ‘jump’ over it at correct height.
  • To challenge participants to code the drone to fly over the high jump bar and land onto a landing pad 5 meters away from launch pad
