Entry requirements
3 GCE 'O' Level Grades:
- Grade 1 - 7 in English Language 
- Grade 1 - 8 in any 2 subjects 
Applicants must have sat for Mathematics (Elementary or Additional).
OR
- Nitec in Services/Technology qualifications 
- Nitec qualifications 
Note:
Applicants for this course must ensure that they are free from colour appreciation deficiency.

Higher Nitec in Services - Visual Merchandising graduates are employed by the retail or service establishments, such as department stores, shopping malls, and specialty stores. They perform a crucial role in ensuring that the window and in-store displays are designed and implemented according to market and fashion trends. Some of the job titles held by graduates include Visual Merchandiser, Display Artist, Retail Stylist and Visual Exhibition Designer.
There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to upgrade their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.
