Join us to acquire the niche technical skills and knowledge for installing, testing, troubleshooting and upgrading of security systems including CCTVs, Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.
The course duration is 1.5 years to 3 years.
Course is being phased out and is offered to ongoing students only.
What you'll learn
- Install, upgrade, configure and maintain surveillance and access control systems
- Install, upgrade, configure and maintain intruder detectors and control panels
- Perform troubleshooting on security equipment
- Install and test cabling systems
- Set up and maintain computer system
- Set up wired and wireless local area networks

Entry Requirements
- Completed GCE 'O' Level; or
- Completed GCE 'N' Level; or
- Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
Note:
Applicants applying for this course must be free from colour appreciation deficiency and not have a criminal record. A score of 100% from the Colour Blindness Test taken here is mandatory for course admission.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission if they have a letter of sponsorship or employer’s recommendation. Applicants may have to go through an interview.
