Learn how to set up and secure wireless networks for your home or small business. This beginner course will teach you how to configure a wireless router, ensure network security, and share resources like files and printers. 

Course duration: 12 hours

What you'll learn

Understanding Wireless Networks 

  • Get to know how wireless networks work and the different standards used 

Setting Up a Wireless Network 

  • Learn how to set up and test your wireless network with both basic and advanced settings 

Implementing Wireless Security 

  • Apply security measures such as WEP, WPA, MAC Address Filtering, Parental Controls, and WPS to protect your network 

Sharing Resources 

  • Set up and manage file sharing, printer sharing, and access resources from the Internet 

Entry requirements

You need to possess basic computer skills and be familiar with Windows environment.
