Do you want to provide customer service in the area of healthcare to patients and ancillary support services in hospital or polyclinic settings?

Join this course to play an active role in enhancing patients’ and customers’ experience.

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide frontline healthcare patient and ancillary support services for quality inpatient and outpatient customer service, at various service touch points in the hospitals or polyclinics.

Prerequisite:

A team player with strong customer service experience & proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Trainees have to work with various stakeholders to provide frontline services to patients & family members. Trainee may need to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. 

Job Role:

The job role of Patient Services Senior Associate includes & not limited to assisting patients’ registration, billing, appointments / re-appointments & enquiries. Other job role includes provide financial counselling for patients, handle patients’ admission & discharge documents, maintain patients’ medical record, prepare consultation rooms and provide administrative support & basic clinical procedures at clinics.

What you'll learn

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

  1. ITE graduates from any one of the following courses:

    Nitec with GPA ≥ 2:

    • Business Services
    • Dental Assisting
    • Finance Services
    • Travel & Tourism Services
    • Fitness Training

    Higher Nitec:

    • Accounting
    • Leisure & Travel Operations
    • Passenger Services
    • Service Management
    • Sport Management

    OR

    In-service employees with:

    • Equivalent qualifications such as Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above
    • Relevant work experience
    • Strong employer endorsement
  2. Pass company screening and interview

Progression Opportunities

Work-Study Diploma graduates can apply to related full-time or part-time degree programmes in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) or Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), subject to the admission requirements of the university.
