Are you game enough to be a cyber defender in securing our network servers and devices against online threats?

To cater to industry demand, the curriculum structure encompasses the specialised skills sets built upon broad-based foundation skills sets for the Infocomm Technology (ICT) sector. Join this course and be a champion for security to enhance cybersecurity defence for businesses. You will learn to support cyber security operations in end-user devices, network, and server in an enterprise IT / cloud environment for cyber security services. You will also learn to analyse security-related events and escalate incidents for validation and remediation.

Entry Requirements

Admission to Year 1 of the 3-year structure:

GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects:

  • Grade 1-8

or

GCE ‘N’ level passes in Mathematics or Science* and 2 other subjects:

  • Grade A-D or Grade 1-5

* Mobile Robotics, Smart Electrical Technology, Mechanical Design & Automation, IoT Applications, and Mobile Web Applications subjects can be used in lieu of Science for admission to this Higher Nitec course.

Career Opportunities

Higher Nitec in Cyber & Network Security graduates are employed in public and private sector organisations to administer networks and operating systems, monitor the network for security events, assist to manage virtualization infrastructure and perform cyber security operations.
