Do you dream of creating the next “Pokémon Go”, “Clash of Clans”, “Fortnite” and “Warcraft” games? Do you want to wow your friends with your creativity?

In this two-year course, you will create fun and engaging games for entertainment, education or training purposes. You will learn C# programming language as well as game development tools such as Unity. This course also provides you with a basic foundation in game design principles and game level design for building multi-platform interactive experiences.

What you'll learn

  • Participate in the game design process
  • Develop game program code
  • Design game levels
  • Perform game integration and testing

Entry Requirements

GCE 'O' level grades in English Language, Mathematics/ Principles of Accounts and 1 approved subject:

  • Grade 1-8 in English Language
  • Grade 1-7 in Mathematics (Elementary or Additional)

Progression Opportunities

Higher Nitec in Games Programming & Development graduates may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma course at ITE:


Higher Nitec in Games Programming & Development graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
